George Washington, Lodge No. 285. Chartered in 1853, George Washington Lodge 285 is a Masonic Lodge in the Fifth Manhattan District under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the State of New York. Not so much a statue as a relief of some sort, but I’m including it anyway.

A sample of the statues to be found at Kensico Cemetery. These are not necessarily representative, or the best – merely those that I came across during my brief visit. Browsing the internet I’ve come across many more. Another reason to go back again.

Unfortunately I’ve been unable to find much information about them.
