I’ve been trying to take pictures (so far without much success) for some time. I came across these geese in Croton Landing Park.

In earlier posts I’ve chronicled my attempts to get pictures of birds, and how whenever I go out to take such pictures I never come across any.

I finally managed to get a few bird pictures: nothing exotic – just some mallards and geese on our lake. But it’s better than nothing and it encourages me to keep trying.

Still no birds but I did come across this turtle. Why is it that whenever I go out looking for birds I seem to come back with pictures of turtles?!

Somehow during this brief visit I’ve seen people, chipmunk, squirrels but still no birds. Now it the turn of this spectacular pair of dogs.

I posted a number of pictures of squirrels. I’m sorry but I just like squirrels (I like chipmunks too but I don’t see as many of them). They’re so cute even if they are, as someone once said, “Rats with fluffy tails” (or something like that).
