This old stone bridge is just about opposite our house. In fact when the leaves are off the trees (as they were when I took this picture) you can see our house from the bridge. I’ve been trying to get a decent picture of it for years without any success. Either the light was wrong, or you couldn’t see the bridge for excessive undergrowth. The town has been working on upgrading the sewers along our street for the last year (thank goodness they now seem to have finished) and in the process they appear to have cleared away all of the the undergrowth allowing me a pretty much unobstructed view of the bridge…and the day I took the picture the light was gorgeous.

Taken with a Sony RX100 M3.
