Another attempt at macro photography. I came across this dead fly and thought it might make a fitting subject for a macro: a small insect that because of its deceased state was not going anywhere anytime soon. Not only was it dead, it had been dead for some time so it was well past its sell by date. This, of course accounts for its dilapidated appearance. In fact when I picked it up a couple of legs fell off. This did not deter me. We photographers are a hardy bunch and in any case it was good practice.

Taken with a Sony A6000 and 7artisans 60mm F2.8 Macro Lens
