After a long walk during the parade the veterans sit down, take a break, get a well deserved rest and watch the ceremony. The rest of us had to stand.

After the parade we moved to our town park: Law Park, where a formal ceremony and wreath laying was to take place.

In addition to a strong turnout on the part of the firemen (firepersons?) the Fire Department also put on a good show of their various vehicles – Briarcliff Manor, Scarborough and Archville.
