A little over a month ago these cherry trees were in bloom in my village. Spectacular!

Photographs and thoughts on photography and camera collecting
I’m not much of a gardener. I like the look of the flowers, but I don’t much enjoy all the work that goes into growing and maintaining them. This is why I love this peony. With no effort on my part it keeps coming back every year and producing theses magnificent flowers.
Taken with a Sony A7IV and Sony FE 24mm f2.8 G.
Many feel that taking pictures of flowers is clichéd. After a largely colorless Winter I’m only too happy to see some bright colors for a change.
Other than the tree in the first picture, which I know is a Weeping Cherry, I don’t know the names of any of these.
Taken in mid-April, 2023 – First picture with Fuji X-E3 and Fuji XF 10-24mm f4; remainder with a Sony A7IV and Rokinon/Samyang 75mm f1.8 FE.
