Coming downstairs from my bedroom one day I noticed the sun streaming through a window in the front door. It was making these interesting (to me at least) somewhat rainbow-like patterns on the floor.

Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) is a technique where you deliberately move the camera during exposure. I’ve tried it a couple of times in the past and didn’t much like the results. During one of my recent woodland walks I decided to try it again. I quite like some of these.

Spotted this very clear dividing line between the light green of the pondweed and the much darker water of a nearby pond.

I liked the rather abstract look of the small, brighter yellowy-green leaves against the dark water.

While I really like the textures, and the contrast between the light and shade I really must do something about getting this painted.
