I was waiting for a train to New York City. It wasn’t due to arrive for a while, so I decided to have a coffee at Black Cow Coffee, which is located right across from the Pleasantville, MTA Railroad Station. While there I felt the call of nature.

My friend needed to go to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) in Peekskill, NY so I decided to go along. While I was waiting for her I came across these rather surreal (and somewhat spooky) mannikins just outside.
Apple iPhone SE II
Yesterday I posted a black and white picture of a spoon (See: A Spoon). When I took the picture, I had in mind that it would be good in black and white. And I still think it does.
However, I’ve since warmed to the color version too.

Seen at my friend’s house early in the morning of New Year’s Day, 2024. I liked the way the early morning sun was streaming in through the window and illuminating the wreath.
