Pastel Roses

We recently had some friends over to the house and my wife bought these flowers to brighten the place up.

I liked the pastel colors: the pink of the roses, the white of the babies breath, and the blue of the plate.

We’d been for drinks with friends at the Washington Irving Boat Club in Tarrytown and then afterwards to the adjoining Sunset Cove restaurant for dinner.

As we were leaving I noticed the colored lights on the bridge, which I hadn’t seen before.
