I was attracted to the contrasting warm and cooler colors, the different textures of the rocks and the pebbles, and the various shapes.

Photographs and thoughts on photography and camera collecting
I took these pictures because I thought they were interesting and little bit different. I mean – how often do you see a tree growing out of the middle of another tree?
I was only after I was editing them on the computer that I realized that they could perhaps been seen a different way….

I took this picture of my favorite New York City building: The Chrysler Building as I made my way back to Grand Central for my train ride back home.
I had been half expecting Manhattan to be a virtual ghost town. But it wasn’t. Sure, a lot of things were closed but there were lots of people on the streets and as I passed bars/restaurants I noticed that they had quite a few customers, both inside and out.
The picture was taken around 6:15pm on a Friday evening.

After a fair bit of walking I finally made it to the restaurant where I would meet my friend: Pescatore on 2nd Avenue between 50th and 51st.
