I usually walk down to the river for Sunday lunch. On this particular day I was walking along a road that on the left side had a wooded area that was once a part of the Speyer Estate. Suddenly I came across this rather strange sight: a garbage bag in a tree. Then I noticed that there more garbage bags at the base of this tree, making about ten in all.
I can only assume that someone drove by and then just threw the bags out of the car. There’s a lot of garbage along this stretch of road, but it’s usually just cans, bottles etc. I’ve never anything of this magnitude before. I can only hope that the police get these bags, and hopefully find something that identifies the offenders.
Why do people do this? Is it really so difficult to dispose of such things correctly?
