I passed numerous clumps of these flowers. They’re quite beautiful, but for some reason I find it extremely to get a photograph of them that I like.

A Walk through Ossining – House on Maurice Ave.
A while ago I decided to go for a walk down through Ossining to the River Hudson. The towns along the Hudson River have some lovely houses. This is an example of one of them: Seen on Maurice Ave.

A Tree
I was walking around in some nearby woodland the other day when I saw some nice light falling on this old tree. At first, I didn’t think it would make a good picture. As with most woodland pictures everything seemed so cluttered. However, I persisted and took the picture anyway and I rather like the result.

A Fluffy White Dog
For a variety of reasons including bad weather, I’d been cooped up in the house for a couple a days and was starting to feel “cabin fever”. So, I decided to go out for a photowalk. Along the way I came across a young girl trying (unsuccessfully) to catch this fluffy white dog (some kind of poodle I believe). It was heading for the road, so I thought I’d better try to catch it, which I did. After I’d handed it back to her, I asked if I could take a photograph. She agreed and this is the result. I’m afraid I didn’t catch the dog’s name.
